After more than 5 years selling baby products under the name Little for Now, I am refocusing my business. One Lucky Mama will be the new store name. Now, in addition to products for babies, we’ll carry toys for toddlers and preschoolers, maternity items, ecofriendly products for the whole house, and even more fun things for babies and moms. The new store name better reflects our new product mix. Don’t worry, we’ll still be providing the many baby items you love, such as cloth diapers, baby carriers and swaddling blankets.
While I am a bit sad to let the Little for Now name go, I am excited about the possibilities this new store will offer for our customers. I have always been passionate about creating and finding products that make parenting easier and more fun. One Lucky Mama will offer the broadest selection of hard-to-find baby and family items in Utah. While moms in Utah have plenty of access to big box retailers, specialty stores are not as easy to find. We have regular customers from Layton, Ogden, Provo and Heber, as well as the areas in the Salt Lake Valley. Our goal in broadening our selection is to offer a one-stop store for unique baby and maternity items, as well as items that are better for the whole family.
So, why the name One Lucky Mama? I bought this domain name shortly after I learned that I was pregnant with my daughter. After more than 16 years of infertility – my miracle baby was on her way! I felt like the luckiest mom in the world. I really am One Lucky Mama to be mom to this sweet girl – who is now 2 1/2! When I started looking for a name for the new store, I considered many different names and none of them felt quite right. Then, one day as I was watching a group of children learning a new song, it hit me – the whole reason I am in this business is because all children are precious. That makes all moms lucky to be mamas – and my new store name came to me. The carefully chosen products in my store are from One Lucky Mama to another.
